The FI-BL0303 and FI-BL0202 eBike and eScooter Fire Blankets are durable and highly effective solutions for isolating lithium battery fires, including those occurring in e-bikes, e-scooters, and battery storage systems. Engineered for extreme thermal resistance, these blankets help prevent fire spread while minimizing collateral damage to surrounding property and infrastructure.

Purpose and Application

These blankets are specifically designed to safely contain small electric vehicle (LEV) fires and lithium battery incidents, whether during active use, charging, storage, or palletized transport. By limiting oxygen supply to the fire, they reduce flame intensity, smoke propagation, and the release of toxic fumes.

Materials and Thermal Performance

The eBike and eScooter blankets are manufactured using high-quality silica-grade materials and are available in three material variants, with or without double-sided coating, depending on operational requirements.

• Peak temperature resistance: up to 1600 °C / 2900 °F

• Sustained working temperature: up to 1200 °C / 2200 °F

The selected materials are both durable and eco-conscious, designed to withstand the extreme conditions of lithium battery fires without igniting during deployment, as verified through live fire testing for more than 50hrs.

The FI-BL0303 and FI-BL0202 blankets have been rigorously tested in accordance with leading international fire safety standards.

Only three fire blanket manufacturers worldwide hold the A1 fire class ISO EN 13501-1 test report, and Fire Isolator is proud to be among them. This certification ensures the highest level of fire resistance and product quality.
