Aerosol Unit Set – FI-AUCA2

The Aerosol Unit  is a lightweight, hand-held fire suppression device designed for trained firefighters and first responders. It uses advanced aerosol suppression technology based on potassium nitrate to interrupt the chemical chain reaction of fire, providing fast and effective flame control in critical situations.

When activated, the unit releases microscopic solid aerosol particles suspended in gas. These particles chemically interfere with combustion, rapidly suppressing flames. While the Aerosol Unit does not deplete oxygen levels, the released gas can locally reduce oxygen concentration in the fire zone, further enhancing fire suppression. This makes it particularly effective when used under fire blankets, where it helps prevent deflagration of trapped gases.

Performance and Application

The Aerosol Unit is primarily designed for Class A, B, and C fires and is especially effective in confined or enclosed spaces.

• Coverage volume: up to 45 m³ (1400 ft³)

• Rapid flame suppression or extinction, depending on space volume

• Reduces heat without the need for water or foam

• Minimizes damage to structures, equipment, and contents

Once activated and thrown into the fire zone, the unit automatically disperses the aerosol, requiring no further intervention.

The FI-AUCA1 is ecologically safe and environmentally responsible:

• Harmless to humans and animals when used correctly

• Zero ozone depletion potential (ODP = 0)

• Zero global warming potential (GWP = 0)

• Leaves little to no residue, enabling fast and easy post-fire cleanup
